Introducing the Tiny Docent Project
Tiny Docent Project is a community-centered visual arts initiative based in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
What began as a small arts discovery project has grown into a larger vision focused on strengthening connections between artists, organizations, educators, and communities through storytelling, arts education, artist support, creative resource-sharing, and cultural programming.
Current initiatives include:
• Arts marketing and artist promotion
• Community outreach and arts education
• Visual arts event discovery
• Hen’s Art Supply Exchange
• Support for artists and creative organizations throughout the Lehigh Valley
We believe thriving arts communities create stronger communities for everyone.
Thank you to the many artists, galleries, organizations, educators, and community members who have welcomed Tiny Docent into their spaces and supported this growing vision.

I Supervised the Stretching of a Canvas
Today I reported to the studio to supervise the stretching of a giant canvas. What began as measuring and mild debate quickly turned into a full lesson in tension, precision, and the surprising importance of tidy corners. Kat Collins taught Becca and Jill how to transform raw canvas into a gallery-ready surface, and I found myself unexpectedly fascinated by the entire process. Expanded field notes now on the blog.
